Finally got my business card done. For the past one year , I have been doubting the networking power via card, Linked in , Facebook and other platform .People connection was very slow for me as I do VERY LESS interaction both in meetings and social medias , no cards exchange , definitely was not following up with the new contacts.It hit me hard, when the person I went with was doing the utmost she can to connect with humans that can be a good network chain one day.When I can get one client others got more .I knew it was not lacking of skills , it was because of not UPGRADING my skills (not enough of effort and will power to make it work). Being reluctant , was keeping me procrastinated and less passionate on what should I be working on to reach my endless list of goals.One of the issues I face with business card ( as i didn't have one earlier) , people/professionals/networking people/marketing people that they were expecting the business card in return for REAL !I was only left with my name ,a short intro on where I'm working via verbal .I know it was okay to ask them to filter my name via linked in or Facebook was the least can be done , but with a card they can at least have that sufficient information of myself and i might have the little possibility to get a handful clients .As much as I wanted the card , I want to achieve word of mouth advertising that (comes with how I handle and provide services to my clients.)
Attending courses , business talks , publishing posters on Occupational Therapy Home Services, opening page on my services and work related info were enormously helping the network to build.Credits goes to my colleagues as well for giving that helping hand to grow potentially in our fields of career.
Yet,getting my own business card should be one of the first thing in my to-do-list.Yet I was procrastinating for months by designing my own template (kononya want to diy) .I got a template that this company ( Rainboy Nethal Pick and Print) was taking online order for business cards and gives free delivery and kfc coupons ( good deal yeah)I sent my informations alone, they came up with three designs >>made some changes>>paid and got my business cards 300pcs for RM50 shj in less than 2 weeks.Sigh ( why didn't i do this earlier) !
Although my steps to achieve my goals in a network marketing are jumbled up , I hope to make as organized as it needs to be achieve my aims fast and efficiently ( like getting a simple business card).
